The IT Digital team is working behind the scenes to make digital marketing possible and helping the business to achieve their goals and ambitions.

We are providing innovative solutions, guiding the business through digital marketing tools, and data. We work across teams in the Europe zone so you will get to know colleagues outside the Benelux market. We collaborate with multi brands in Nestle Belgilux and Nestle Netherlands both B2B and B2C.

From the 1st of August 2024 (in consultation also earlier or later) we are looking for a digital data & marketing intern for our Nestle Benelux team! Are you passionate about digital and marketing technology and troubleshooting, then we need you!

As a Digital Technology intern you support the IT Digital team and have the following responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the status digital assets (e.g., Social media, branding website, website components) in Benelux market and take actions;
  • Supporting colleagues on user access management;
  • Supporting colleagues on maintaining the Power BI reporting tool and data management under supervise from mentors;
  • Supporting colleagues on requests in supporting tools under supervise from mentors.
  • Sharing knowledge to colleagues and adding knowledge articles;
  • Connecting with stakeholders to identify the business needs and helping to achieve their goal on data subjects;

What will you learn from us?

You will understand how an organization, digital marketing and consumer journey works. You learn about the business impact, digital security, data privacy, GDPR and digital security management. The internship will help you understanding and work with multi-brands and Global, Zone, Market structures and collaborate with colleagues in other countries in Europe and in another time zone.

And of course you will learn about managing branding website, data, and CRM.

Furthermore, you will learn to work in a worldwide, complex organization where it is important to learn how to present your ideas. You learn how to convey a message, how to communicate with colleagues and external colleagues and how to build the very best presentations!

Besides hard work and a lot of learning, the social side of an internship should not be missing either! Because of the open and informal atmosphere at the office there is always room for fun, a coffee break, playing sports together and enjoying fun activities. There is also a close intern community at Nestlé. Under the current circumstances, there are also events that you can follow from home! Think of a Q&A with the CEO, a pub quiz, online escape room and more!

This internship at Nestlé has a duration of 5 or 6 months and starts on the 1st of August 2024 at our head office in Amstelveen.

What/who do we look for?

  • Interested in Data, IT tools, digital marketing, and consumer journey;
  • Someone with a studious and self-solving attitude who can work independently, with a sense of digital marketing, data & IT;
  • Team player, committed to help and takes satisfaction from problem resolution;
  • Willing to learn about digital security, data privacy and GDPR;
  • Good analytical skills with an affinity for IT , Data & Digital Marketing;
  • Excellent communication skills and mastery of English language (Dutch or French is a plus);
  • Affinity with the FMCG market is a plus
  • Being curious or having some knowledge about Web CMS e.g., Drupal, WordPress or Coding or Web Master and google tools e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager is a plus!
