Within PwC Advisory we are looking for consultants with a passion for and knowledge of network security, cloud security, security testing and/or security defense for our Cyber, Forensics and Privacy practice. Together with the team you work on, for example, attack simulations (red teaming), pen testing, network security architecture and assessments on cloud environments (in particular Azure, AWS and GCP).

Responsibilities

You are a part of the Offensive Security Team within CF&P, where complex IT problems are solved for our customers. Our customers are mainly larger companies, in all sectors. Through various techniques, such as red teams, ethical hacks and technical assessments, you improve the security of leading companies and you become part of environments and solutions with social impact. You will work on web applications, internal networks, active directory and cloud solutions.

Requirements

You're the one your friends refer to for computer security! The ideal candidate has intrinsic interest and motivation in ethical hacking and technology in general. You tried platforms like HacktheBox and like to tinker around with your own network, servers, home automation or other technological items. We think motivation and the right mindset are more important than specific training.

Good to know is that this is a starter position where we expect you to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Your knowledge of the English and Dutch language is excellent;
  • Affinity with penetration testing and enjoy doing penetration testing with our customers.
  • You want to develop further in the field of security testing and/or security defense;
  • You are certified as an Associate of ISC2, GPEN or OCSP, or want to achieve this;
  • You are interested in the very latest technology and developments, ideas and concepts.
  • You have excellent communication skills to convey your knowledge of cyber security to both customers and team members;
  • You have a bachelor or master title, for example in Computer Science;
  • You want to invest in your own knowledge and development and of course that of others;
  • You are a team player.

What do we offer?

  • Many training courses and courses that contribute to your personal and professional development, such as CISSP, Offensive Security, SANS and our own Cyber Academy.
  • A suitable salary and extensive employment conditions, including a 'well-being budget'. This is a personal annual budget of € 1000 to be spent on your health, such as: mindfulness, sport, lifestyle coaching, wellness etc;
  • Monthly internet allowance;
  • A lease car/car allowance, laptop and iPhone;
  • 32 holidays per year;
  • Cozy events with colleagues, such as drinks, game nights and other activities.

Trainee - Edge Deals Traineeship

PwC has an open atmosphere. With the right motivation and ambition, you can find a matching place here to start or continue your career. I started as a trainee at FDD, the largest department within PwC Deals. I learned a lot in those first months alone.

Senior Associate Deals - Deal Analytics

Luuk van Selm

When I interned at another company, I met my old mentor. He turned out to be working at PwC and told me about Deals. I got excited when I heard that PwC was innovating with regard to valuations and automation. I also find it interesting to work at the interface of M&A and Big Data Analyses.
