Studocu is looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of Studocu AI, one of the most important and fastest-evolving areas of its product.

This is a unique opportunity to build an AI-native product at scale, defining how students interact with AI, how value is created from their own materials, and how learning outcomes are continuously improved.

You’ll work across discovery and delivery, setting product strategy, collaborating closely with design, engineering, and data science, and shipping high-impact features. This is not a backlog-focused role - it’s about solving real student problems and building something genuinely useful.

About Studocu:

Studocu was founded on the principle that equal access to study notes reduces inequality between students. Today, the platform helps 60 million students across 120,000 institutions share 50 million study resources, with 1 new resource added each second. Studocu also offers cutting-edge AI learning tools such as Studocu AI and Class Recording in the Studocu app.

Join a team of 132+ talented, unique, and ambitious individuals from all over the world to help build what’s next and grow smarter, together.

What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Own Studocu AI end-to-end, shaping the Study Assistant experience across chat interactions and AI-generated outputs such as notes, quizzes, and mock exams
  • Define and drive product strategy by identifying opportunities, setting direction, and translating ideas into features that deliver real user value
  • Design AI-native experiences in close collaboration with design and engineering, defining how the AI behaves, gathers context, and delivers meaningful outputs
  • Improve content quality and learning impact by continuously raising the usefulness and effectiveness of generated study materials
  • Optimize content ingestion to make it seamless for students to upload and use their own materials (slides, PDFs, notes, recordings)
  • Lead experimentation and data-driven decision making by running experiments, analysing performance, and iterating based on user behaviour and outcomes
  • Shape AI and model strategy by partnering with data science and engineering to apply new model capabilities in ways that improve the product

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally working on consumer products at scale
  • Strong analytical skills - you’re comfortable working with data, running experiments, and challenging assumptions
  • Experience using AI tools to improve your own productivity and workflows
  • A systems-thinking mindset - you build scalable processes, tools, and frameworks
  • A solid understanding of modern AI product development (e.g. LLMs, retrieval, evals, latency/cost trade-offs)
  • A strong product instinct - you think from first principles about user problems, growth, and distribution
  • A pragmatic, outcome-focused approach - you prioritise impact over output
  • A critical mindset - you’re able to separate real value from hype and make grounded decisions

Other things that will make you the ideal candidate for us:

  • You’re currently a resident in the Netherlands, a commutable distance from the office in Amsterdam
  • You’re someone who will enjoy coming to the office at least twice per week

Why you'll love it here:

  • Awesome office in the centre of Amsterdam, with a garden
  • Hybrid working policy with 2 days per week in the office
  • Free office lunch, prepared by Chef Valentijn, plus coffee, tea and snacks
  • 24 holiday days, plus options to buy leave and take 4 weeks working abroad
  • A Work From Home set-up budget of up to 800 Euros
  • Learning & Development budget of 2,500 Euros per year
  • Free in-house Dutch lessons for those who want to learn
  • Travel Card (NS Business), depending on where you’re living
  • Pension scheme with a 2% contribution match
  • SAR equity scheme
  • Company boat trips and an open in-office bar on a Friday
  • OneFit sports subscription discount
  • Your choice of Mac or Linux tech
  • An epic annual company trip
