Build with us

Since 2004, we've had one clear goal: to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe.

Today, more than 300,000 companies use Mollie to get paid, manage money and grow – with products designed to be simple, scalable, and dependable.

With 950+ Mollies across 14+ locations, we care deeply about autonomy and craft. So we work in small teams, with real ownership, and we trust you to make the right decisions.

We're building for the long term, so we provide the tools you need, processes you can rely on, and a balanced work environment to help you do work you're proud of.

Sound like your kind of place? Let's build together.

Your impact

As Associate Tax Manager, you'll sit at the heart of Mollie’s tax function, working closely with the Tax Manager to keep Mollie compliant, efficient and ready for whatever comes next.

This role spans the full breadth of tax: VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, Employment taxes and beyond. You'll get real ownership over day-to-day compliance while also contributing to bigger-picture work — new markets, new products and the ongoing build-out of our tax function.

You'll be embedded in a collaborative finance team and work across various stakeholders across the company to make sure tax is understood and applied well across the business. If you're someone who likes to get things done, learns fast and wants to grow with a company that's moving quickly, this is the role for you.

What you'll ship

  • Managing Mollie's tax compliance across VAT, CIT, Transfer Pricing, Employment and operational taxes — keeping everything accurate and on time
  • Assist in the review and set up tax-compliant processes for new services and markets as Mollie continues to expand across Europe
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors, managing their input and making sure it lands well internally
  • Collaborate with finance teams on tax accounting, VAT invoice treatment and employment tax questions such as WKR
  • Supporting the Legal and People teams on tax-related matters like benefits, mobility cases and contractors
  • Assist in automating and optimising tax data flows and reporting processes to make the function faster and more scalable

What you'll bring

  • A relevant Master's degree, combined with around 5 years of experience ideally across multiple tax areas
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is strongly preferred
  • A do-er mindset — you take ownership, follow through
  • Tech-enthusiast mindset with a passion for AI and a track record of exploring new tools to enhance productivity
  • The ability to pick up complex topics quickly and communicate them clearly to non-tax stakeholders

Grow your way

At Mollie, growth is personal. We believe everyone should have the chance to develop their skills, explore new challenges and shape their career on their own terms.

You'll get regular feedback and performance reviews to support your development, with fair and transparent salary reviews along the way. Many Mollies move into new roles or take on new projects to stretch themselves, and we actively hire from within to help you take the next step.

No matter if you're aiming for promotion, exploring a different career path or building new skills, you'll be supported with the tools, trust and opportunities to grow your way.

AI at Mollie

We believe in Always Be Shipping, and AI brings that philosophy to life across every team, every role, every day.

AI is core to how we build. It helps us move faster, simplify work and make smarter decisions, creating real impact for the businesses we serve. We're looking for people who are excited to use AI to shape the future of finance with us.
