Job Description

Mars is strengthening its Planning Center of Excellence (CoE), the engine that powers its human-centric digital transformation. We're looking for a Supply Planning Capability Lead to join this dynamic team and help shape the future of our supply chain in Europe.

Are you passionate about cutting-edge supply network planning? Do you get excited by the challenge of delivering a Mars bar to a local shop from a global supply chain? What if you could be at the heart of a digital revolution at a world-renowned company?

This isn't just another planning role. You'll be a digital catalyst, a change agent, and a key leader driving the future of our operations.

What are we looking for?

We're seeking an inspiring leader with a passion for supply chain innovation.

  • BSc or BA in supply chain management, science and/or engineering. Master or advanced degree (science or business) preferred.
  • 5-8 years of supply chain management and planning experience for a global or multi-plant CPG/FMCG company. Certification in Production and Inventory Management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication in English.

You are:

  • A Digital Thinker: You're savvy with the latest digital tools and trends and can see how they apply to real-world operations.
  • A Change Catalyst: You thrive on transformation and have a knack for bringing people along on the journey.
  • A Content Expert: You have a deep understanding of supply planning and are ready to think beyond the boundaries of current operations.
  • A Collaborative Leader: You believe in the power of a connected, transparent, and agile team.

What are your responsibilities?

How you'll make a tangible impact: as the Supply Planning Capability Lead, you'll move beyond theory and into action.

  • Shape the Strategy: Co-lead the design of the end-to-end supply chain planning strategy.
  • Build the Future: Define ambitious goals and create the roadmap to achieve them, securing alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Drive the Digital Agenda: Take charge of selecting, implementing, and enhancing the tools that will power end-to-end collaboration.
  • Innovate and Automate: Lay the groundwork for user-guided process automation (BPA) and standardize processes to create a smarter, more efficient operating model.
  • Monitor and Improve: Keep a pulse on daily execution to identify critical gaps and opportunities for improvement in real time.
  • Lead the Community: Establish and facilitate a community of practice, bringing experts and decision-makers together to foster innovation and share best practices.
  • Educate and Empower: Create and deliver learning materials to educate leaders, managers, and planners on new, digitally connected ways of working.

If you're ready to help build the future, we want to hear from you.

Join us and be part of a team that is digitally reimagining the way Mars works for the benefit of our people, customers, and consumers!
