Domain lead Supply Chain

Lead and grow the Supply Chain domain within IT Delivery

As IT Delivery Domain Lead Supply Chain, you have two key accountabilities:

  • Managing the relationship between the Business and the Information Technology (IT) function, ensuring alignment of business goals with IT strategies and capabilities.
  • Accountable for the delivery of the agreed project portfolio on time, in full and within budget, as well as all changes within the Supply Chain domain. This includes end-to-end operations, service performance, and user satisfaction as the organization grows towards or operates in an Agile DevOps set-up.

Reporting to the Head of IT Delivery, you will act as a strategic advisor to senior business stakeholders in Supply Chain and drive the IT agenda to support their business goals.

As a people manager, you are responsible for building and growing a team of IT Functional Engineers, Project Managers, and/or Scrum Masters in your functional domain. You will prepare and train your employees and business/functional stakeholders to work in a more agile way, adopting DevOps practices as maturity increases.

Ensure there is a proper resource and related budget plan in place that gets updated every month. Projects must complete their progress reports, financial status, and financial forecast in time monthly.

The Domain Lead Supply Chain is responsible for managing the financials of this domain, enabling working practices for 100% PO compliance, proactive accrual management, quarterly reviews of all POs and contracts, and maintaining a rolling forecast. A ‘cost conscious’ mindset is essential, working closely with the IT Controller and team.

About the role

Application development and delivery

  • Manage the end-to-end application delivery process within own domain including project planning, execution, and monitoring of progress, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and risks, track expenses, and ensure projects remain within budget.
  • Work with other departments and stakeholders to ensure successful handover and support post go live.
  • Ensure projects are executed in accordance with the security and compliance requirements, and the architecture guidelines.

Business Partnership and Alignment

  • Translate business strategies into IT requirements, ensuring that IT solutions are aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, ensuring that the IT roadmap delivers value to the business.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact for all tactical and strategic IT related matters.

Service and vendor performance where DevOps applies

  • Manage the service and the performance of the infrastructure and the services.
  • Ensure all activities and services comply to the security rules and policies.
  • Onboard and manage the OT infrastructure services.
  • Ensure a healthy and robust internal control and risk mindset, and ensure that controls are delivered, and relevant policies are compiled to.

People and change management

  • Create and manage a high performing team of IT engineers, project managers, team leads and external consultants or vendors.
  • Create and develop an internal team to expand the internal capabilities to do projects.
  • Sparring partner for senior management. Challenge senior management regarding primary processes and projects and strategic IM issues.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in managing and leading teams, preferably in Agile DevOps way, and more than 10 years of relevant content experience in domain.
  • Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • Experience in project management and Continuous Improvement.
  • Experience in financial management.
  • High English level is mandatory.
