About the role
You will be a key force in creating and executing the strategic direction for Philips Avent’s professional reputation and endorsement by Health Care Professionals (HCPs) with specific emphasis on global source of business/audience selection, Women & Baby Health Care Professional insights, business model development, geographical expansion, go-to-market strategies, and professional communication/education.
The Mother and Child Care/Women’s Health Business Unit is a global leader in providing pre-conception, pregnancy and post-partum solutions to consumers, healthcare professionals, insurers and governments under the Philips Avent brand and Pregnancy+ App. It is part of Philips Personal Health. You will report to the Mother and Child Care/Women’s Health Business Unit Leader.
Minimum required Education:
Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Marketing Technology, Medical Technology, Business Administration or equivalent.
Your role:
- Shape the strategic direction of the Professional business focusing on business evolution & transformation, identifying key HCP audiences, Where to Play, How to Win and success metrics framework that drive HCP recommendation for the Philips Avent Brand and our products.
- Lead development and quantification of business impact of long-term opportunities to win against competition, deliver best in class healthcare professional experience to create brand value.
- Outline the Global and Regional Strategic Workforce Plan and resources needed to deliver on a 5-year HCP Strategic Plan of Record.
- Drive recommendation for Philips Avent and P+ across key HCP audiences, leading a global team to increase reach via new go to market models and digitization.
- Develop payer programs, in concert with our Worry Free Parenting team, to sign on more payer partnerships to offer Philips Avent and P+ solutions to deliver healthier outcomes.
- Partner with the Government Teams in our Regions to create policy and programs to further positive pre-conception, pregnancy and post-partum outcomes.
- Identify the unique POV for Philips Avent that makes our brand and our solutions relevant to key HCP audiences by crafting a clinical, Key Opinion Leader and communications agenda to drive awareness and advocacy.
- Incent trial and recommendation for Philips Avent by being present in key consideration/decision moments whether as part of patient sampling or direct to hospital sales.
- Maintain up-to-date overview of market, HCP, consumer/patient, competition, technical, application and societal development trends in global markets to ensure active optimization of Professional Strategy.
- Team up effectively with senior management and interact with relevant stakeholders to actively build a network to advocate for HCP focus, to stay on top of new developments and to understand local insights in global markets to continuously optimize Philips Avent’s Professional Experience.
- Understand the overall business ambition and how HCP advocacy can help to grow their businesses.
You're the right fit if:
- 10+ years of overall experience in international business management, consumer and professional marketing or healthcare marketing; preferably with 5+ years in professional marketing or strategy experience with an outstanding Consumer, Consumer Health or HealthTech organization.
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem and how it influences brand choice, including understanding of Mother & Child Care and Women’s Health environment, consumer landscape, retailer landscape and delivery models.
- Proven track-record influencing, commanding and building strong working relationships that contribute to building a highly engaged and high performing team.
- Affinity for driving coordinated solutions across hardware, software, consumables and services.
- Proven track record of building significant impact both in strategy definition and strategy execution in multinational organizations.
- Agility, adaptability, strong communication, a growth mindset, and collaborative execution.
- Willingness to travel (25%).
