Internship HR - Learning & Development

Your tasks

  • Proactively involve yourself in various L&D projects, taking initiative and responsibility, and value collaboration and communication.
  • Take ownership of our L&D Instagram account and create engaging content for our audience.
  • Prepare relevant communication for various stakeholder groups related to L&D projects.
  • Play an operational and organizational role when coordinating global training activities; send out invites, arrange locations, hotel accommodation, goodies, etc.
  • Act as a support for our global HKM Academy (learning platform).
  • Help with the development of professional and on-brand presentations for the team to use when presenting projects or facilitating training.

About you

  • In your 3rd or 4th year of your Bachelor or in a Master program, studying towards a degree related to HR or Business/Retail.
  • Available from September 2026 for a minimum of 4 days a week.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English, and preferably one other language.
  • Able to deal with deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Creative tool skills e.g. Canva.
  • Pro-active and you take initiative; you have a ‘get things done' mentality.
  • Self-aware: you know what your qualities and areas of attention are.
  • Sees feedback as a learning opportunity.

Work From Home (WFH) policy

For 40-hour internships, you are allowed to work from home up to 2 days per week, depending on the nature of your role. During onboarding, WFH days may vary to better support your learning and training.

Eligibility criteria

For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in February 2026. Please note that your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:

  • You are an EU citizen.
  • You are on a Family/Partner visa.
  • You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
