Project Lead Engineering Workplace (freelance)

Making life easier for engineers. That is the goal of the domain Engineering Experience & Platforms. Within NN we have a wide variety of engineers who have their own needs and ambitions. What we want to know is how we can accelerate those engineers in becoming great. This starts with a workplace where engineers feel comfortable with: an engineering workplace.

What you are going to do

In this assignment you will create engineering workplace profiles which allow NN to specify what is needed for what type of engineer. You onboard applications and configurations for engineering tools like git, GitHub CoPilot and Visual Studio Code, and you will roll out language stacks like Python and NodeJS. Another part of the assignment is validating with the users whether the product works for them and discovering what is necessary to improve the product.

Who you are

For this assignment we are looking for someone who combines close interaction with our internal customers with engineering capabilities to propose an implementation plan. You align easily with all stakeholders and create honest conversations to receive feedback. You are capable of translating the needs of the customer to engineering profiles, including a proposal of technical implementation.

Who you will work with

You will work together with the Product Owner of the IT Tooling team, Principle engineers and the Heads of Engineering within the company. Together with them you will come with a plan on what engineering profiles we have at NN and how to implement it.
