This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

FP&A Manager

FP&A sits close to the business and helps shape where we go next. In this role, that means building a clear view on what good looks like over the next 24 months, understanding which levers we can pull to grow, and helping the business make smarter trade-offs earlier.

We are looking for an FP&A Manager to own the full planning cycle across the annual plan, monthly updates, and rolling forecast. The role will bring structure, challenge, and a forward-looking view to the process, with a clear focus on revenue and the main drivers behind it, including payments revenue and financial products revenue. You will help us understand what is likely to happen, what is driving it, where we can influence the outcome, and how we turn that into a stronger plan and better decisions.

What you’ll do

  • Own the full planning cycle across the annual plan, monthly updates, and rolling forecast, with a clear view on outlook, risks, opportunities, and trade-offs
  • Build a forward-looking understanding of the key drivers behind payments revenue and financial products revenue, and translate these into clear choices and actions for the business
  • Work closely with Commercial, Product, Data, RevOps, and regional Finance teams to challenge assumptions, improve forecast quality, and identify where we can create more value
  • Improve the models, planning logic, and ways of working behind the forecast so we can move faster and make better decisions with each cycle
  • Look for smarter ways to run the planning process, including the use of AI and automation to improve insight generation, efficiency, and decision-making

Who you are

  • You have 8+ years experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or commercial finance, ideally in a technology, payments, or high-growth environment
  • You have hands-on experience with planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, and know how to connect business developments to financial outcomes
  • You are comfortable working across teams, building alignment, and driving topics with senior stakeholders
  • You bring structure, a sharp point of view, and a builder mindset. You do not stop at reporting what happened, but push on what we should do next
  • You are interested in how AI, automation, and new tooling can improve the way Finance works, and you are eager to apply that in practice

This role is based out of our Amsterdam office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.

We took an unobvious approach to starting a payments company, building a platform from scratch. Today, we're the payments platform of choice for the world's brightest companies. Our unobvious approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity, of backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives, is essential in helping us maintain our momentum.
