Executive Assistant

Your challenges

Global Digital is charged with “Embedding technology in everything we do”, within the KPMG International organization. Global Digital is comprised of serval ‘domains’ including Global Enterprise Technology (GET).

The GET, Business Operations team supports Global Digital and GET leadership by providing operational, administrative, and business management support. The team plays a critical role in enabling effective decision‑making, execution of strategy, and smooth day‑to‑day operations across a global, virtual environment.

The Executive Assistant will support Global Digital’s global directors who are based in the Netherlands. The Executive Assistant will report into and work as a team member of the GET Business Operations department, alongside the Executive Assistants that support other Domain leaders and global directors. The role is responsible for supporting the executives in the overall strategy and achieving organization-wide and departmental goals, while living the KPMG values, and will also manage key business management processes.

This is what you bring

  • A minimum of five years of executive‑level administrative support experience, ideally within a professional services environment
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Experience working in a global, virtual environment with flexibility across time zones
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering accurate, high‑quality work
  • A customer‑focused mindset and strong relationship‑building skills
  • A basic understanding of financial and operational processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn internal tools and technologies

What will you do?

  • Organize and coordinate meetings with global directors, keep overview of all relevant meetings, arrange logistics for all global travel utilizing all current guidelines, protocols, and technologies
  • Perform more complex and confidential secretarial support and handle sensitive information for high level stakeholders as well as efficiently prepare time and expense reports, and reconcile credit card statements
  • Provide high level administrative support to multiple executives to include managing bookings for executive conference rooms, provide on-site support to office staff, assist with the onboarding of staff, provide back up support as needed
  • Signals structural opportunities for improvement in work processes and systems within the GTK Business Operations team, purposes solutions to department head
  • Act as a back-up for the KPMGI Amstelveen Office Lead

Assist with various business management tasks, including:

  • Manage the SOW process including Coupa management
  • Assist with annual budget forecasting process
  • Assist with the recruiting process
  • Maintain department organizational charts via OrgVue
  • Ad hoc analysis or data requests
  • Coordinate with team members and help support/back-up Executive Assistants on the team
