Job description

About Samotics 🏢

At Samotics, we monitor industrial equipment through Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA), using advanced AI to analyse the electrical “heartbeat” of motors, pumps, and drives.

Our SAM4 platform detects failures inside the motor control cabinet — without installing sensors on the asset itself. Today we monitor thousands of assets across industries such as water, chemicals, mining, and oil & gas.

As we scale globally, we are building a world-class go-to-market engine to match our technical ambition.

The Role 👥

This is a global marketing role for someone who wants genuine scope and influence from day one. Based in Leiden, you’ll work alongside our Global Accounts team, partnerships and commercial leaders to drive pipeline growth across international markets.

The work spans campaigns, content, digital and events — with AI fundamentally changing what’s possible in each of them. We’re building AI-driven marketing orchestration into the core of how we work, and we need someone who can lead the charge: new tools, faster execution, smarter workflows.

You’ll thrive here if you enjoy building things in an environment that moves fast and evolves as the business grows. This isn’t a role for someone who needs a fully-defined remit — it’s for someone who sees an open field and runs.

Your Challenge 🎯

  • Generate pipeline through targeted lead generation programmes and campaign management across priority markets

  • Partner with the Global Accounts team and our go-to-market engineer on targeted campaigns that engage the right buyers

  • Drive joint go-to-market initiatives with our partnerships team — coordinating on co-marketing, shared messaging and pipeline goals

  • Create high-quality written content: customer success stories, case studies, thought leadership and campaign assets

  • Build and execute sector-specific campaigns — from messaging and assets to channel selection and measurement

  • Develop market propositions and messaging as Samotics expands into new regions and verticals

  • Lead AI-driven marketing orchestration — using tools like Claude and other AI platforms to scale content, campaigns and workflows across markets

  • Provide marketing support for industry events and conferences — from pre-event comms and collateral through to onsite execution and follow-up

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop repeatable marketing programmes and build a high-performing function

Job requirements

What You’ll Bring ⭐

Experience and mindset

  • 5–7+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology, industrial or professional services

  • Experienced and sharp across all areas of marketing — as comfortable shaping strategy as rolling up your sleeves to execute

  • A strong, confident writer with extensive experience across multiple formats and channels

  • AI-savvy, with hands-on experience or a strong technical understanding of AI-driven marketing solutions

  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and performance marketing

  • A true maker/builder mindset — you create, test and improve in-house rather than waiting for a fully-defined brief

  • A track record of working closely with Sales, Partnerships or Business Development teams

  • Strong adaptability and comfort in fast-moving, evolving environments

  • Outbound lead generation experience is essential

  • Strong events experience is a plus

  • Domain exposure in utilities, heavy industry, oil & gas, chemicals or steel is beneficial
