Your Tasks

As a Senior Pricing Analyst Benelux, you help MediaMarkt maintain competitive and strategically aligned pricing across online and offline channels. You use data and market insights to support pricing decisions, monitor performance, and contribute to the execution of our pricing strategy across three countries.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and refine pricing strategies to support business objectives and respond to market trends
  • Work closely with Category Management to align pricing with assortment strategies
  • Track pricing performance and KPIs, developing dashboards and reports to monitor trends and outcomes
  • Lead pricing-related projects, such as automation of pricing workflows or rollout of new systems
  • Mentor and guide junior pricing analysts, helping develop their analytical capabilities
  • Analyze competitive pricing across channels (online and offline) and product categories to identify trends and opportunities
  • Benchmark MediaMarkt prices against competitors to support pricing decisions
  • Ensure the execution of pricing-related processes in line with defined guidelines and policies
  • Support Category Managers in developing promotional strategies and tactics through data-driven insights

Your Profile

You are proactive, structured, and solution-oriented. You combine strong analytical skills with business understanding and enjoy translating data into actionable insights. You are comfortable working with multiple data sources and building scalable data solutions that support business processes. You are a team player with strong communication skills, show ownership, and take initiative.

  • HBO/WO level of thinking and working, preferably in Business, Finance, Econometrics, or another quantitative field
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in pricing, preferably within a retail environment
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros are a plus) and a strong affinity with IT and data tools
  • Ability to work across different functions
  • Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • A strong interest in numbers, data, analysis, and fact-based decision-making
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends when business needs require it
  • Excellent command of English (mandatory); knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
