Your impact

You will be Mollie’s first dedicated In-Person Payments (IPP) specialist in the Netherlands. While we are already a leader in online payments, we are the challenger in the physical POS space. Your mission is to change that. By leveraging our superior unified API, you’ll build our Dutch IPP presence from the ground up, opening doors to enterprise-level omnichannel merchants and creating a brand-new revenue stream for the business.

This is an entrepreneurial role designed for someone who thrives on autonomy. You won't just be following a playbook; you’ll be writing it. Success in this role means setting the foundation for our Dutch IPP team, positioning yourself as the go-to expert within Mollie, and eventually scaling the team you helped build. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from cold outreach to go-live, ensuring Dutch retailers have the modern payment tools they deserve.

What you'll ship

  • Drive high-volume outbound growth by targeting Dutch omnichannel and POS-only merchants through strategic cold calling and email sequences.

  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from identifying key stakeholders (CFOs, CIOs, and Retail Managers) to overseeing terminal sales and merchant onboarding.

  • Pitch the technical and commercial benefits of Mollie’s unified API and omnichannel offering to complex, high-potential enterprise prospects.

  • Collect and analyze merchant data on existing systems and competitors to help refine our market positioning and product roadmap.

  • Maintain rigorous CRM discipline, logging all activity and pipeline updates to ensure data-driven decision-making for the IPP squad.

What you'll bring

  • 3 to 5 years of commercial sales experience with a proven track record in outbound prospection.

  • Direct experience within In-Person Payments (IPP) or Point-of-Sale (POS) systems is essential.

  • Solid understanding of the Payment Service Provider (PSP) landscape and how to position technical fintech solutions.

  • A highly structured, organised approach to sales with professional proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.

  • The ability to navigate technical conversations regarding merchant systems, cash register platforms, and payment integrations.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage and influence C-level stakeholders and finance managers.
