SwissMarine works with top tier shipowners to aim to provide commodity transportation services to the major producers, traders and end users including leading steel mills and power producers. Mainly trading world flows of coal and iron ore, which are a driving factor of the global freight market, we strive to have best knowledge of future market movements and anticipate on those to optimize our fleet revenues.
Today, the company operates out of three worldwide offices (Geneva, Singapore, and Verbier), and has a staff of over 50 employees, operates a fleet of around 175 vessels and transports around 125 million metric tons annually which is around 5% of the world dry bulk trade.
