I really like that everyone at Magnet.me is very open and works hard towards a common ambitious goal. As a Business Development Manager I have conversations with all kinds of companies and people, from interns to CEOs, on a daily basis. This certainly stimulates me to keep on learning!

Our story begins back in 2012 when we experienced the job market for the first time. As we attended just about every career fair and browsed through endless career sites, we began to notice a pattern. No matter where we looked, we came across the same (limited number of) large companies that we had heard about countless times before.

That's why, in September 2012, we launched Magnet.me and from then on continued building a platform that improves the recruitment process for job seekers and employers. Within 3 weeks our first user found a job, showing us that Magnet.me works!

From the moment we started our users have been our number one priority. This means we don’t send mass emails but also that we don’t allow a financial barrier to exist between you and your job. With this priority in the minds of our awesome team we've now helped thousands of users taking their first step in starting their (professional) life thanks to Magnet.me.

At Magnet.me we work without regular meeting times, without reports, without a nine-to-five work day, with a performance driven mentality, and full of passion and expertise of our product.

At Magnet.me you work with software engineers, design guru’s, sales managers, marketing directors, and account executives who all work together to discuss and help make decisions about anything and everything. From the design of the website, the revenue model, to creating new marketing campaigns we use each others knowledge and passion to create the best possible results.

The Magnet.me development team runs as a small but very well-oiled machine. Apart from that our product team is very flexible, allowing you to work from anywhere, anytime (already pre-corona 😉). In order to ensure we work on the right stuff, we divide our work into smaller projects. Together with a designer you run will run such a project yourself, with little to no overhead of others involved. Collaboration primarily goes through GitHub, Slack, and Google Meet.
