Shape the future of Credit Risk Monitoring. As a Business Developer, you will combine credit risk expertise, business analysis, data, process insight and technology to deliver scalable monitoring and risk assessment solutions across the credit value chain. Working at the intersection of Risk, business, Finance, Data and IT, you will help strengthen how the bank identifies, assesses and responds to changing credit risk, from origination and ongoing monitoring to remediation and reporting.

Your Work

The credit value chain brings together customer and facility data, risk signals, ratings, collateral, covenants and portfolio insights. Success depends on clear processes, reliable data, effective controls and accountable ownership. You will design and improve monitoring and assessment solutions at obligor and portfolio level, turning data and process insights into improvements that can be implemented and scaled.

In this role, you will:

  • Independently drive topics from analysis through implementation, proactively managing dependencies, risks and delivery progress.
  • Align stakeholders across Credit Risk, Business, Finance, Operations, Data and IT on needs, requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate policy, methodology and regulation into functional designs, data requirements, process flows, user stories and tests.
  • Design and improve monitoring and assessment processes, including periodic reviews, event- and risk-based signalling, credit reviews and escalation paths.
  • Analyse credit risk data, trends and exceptions to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Define, execute and improve business controls that safeguard complete, accurate, timely and traceable outcomes.
  • Coordinate impact assessments and testing across interconnected systems and teams in the credit value chain.
  • Drive operational readiness, releases, issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain clear documentation and evidence for control, auditability and knowledge transfer.
  • Communicate analysis, risks, decisions and progress clearly to specialist and senior stakeholders.
  • Drive implementation of the new Credit Risk Monitoring framework, translating strategic objectives into scalable monitoring and risk assessment capabilities across the credit value chain.

Your job

The Credit Risk Monitoring & Risk Assessment service area connects business, Credit Risk, Finance, Data and IT across the credit lifecycle. You will translate policy, methodology, regulatory expectations and business needs into clear processes, data requirements, controls and functional solutions. Your work will support consistent assessments, earlier risk detection and better decisions. You will work in a multidisciplinary DevOps team, moving quickly from idea to implementation while safeguarding critical monitoring and assessment services.

Working environment

You will work across obligor monitoring, portfolio oversight and risk assessment, with direct links to origination, provisions, capital and reporting. You will connect product owners, domain experts, Credit Risk specialists, business representatives, data owners, architects and engineers to clarify choices, ownership and dependencies.

The bank is renewing its Credit Risk Monitoring framework through a major strategic programme. You will help implement the new risk assessment and monitoring framework and build an efficient, consistent and future-proof solution. The programme is in an intensive set-up and delivery phase, offering high pace, creative scope and visible impact.
