Unilever is looking for a Junior Account Manager – Home Care Hard Discount & Distributors.
For this position, local conditions apply and candidates based in the Netherlands will in principle be considered first.

Role Overview
In this versatile position, you will contribute directly to achieving Unilever’s sales objectives. This role offers a broad scope, covering customer management, product launches, promotional planning, and performance analysis.
You will be responsible for the Home Care portfolio, while also managing selected distributor partners within the Non-Food Retail channel. In this role, you will work closely with the Customer Strategy & Planning (CSP) team to ensure the right commercial offerings and financial outcomes.
You will report to the Key Account Manager, who will support your development and help you deliver outstanding results while achieving joint sales targets.
Given the high level of cross-functional interaction, you will collaborate intensively with teams across:
- Customer Development
- Marketing
- Finance
- Supply Chain
- Integrated Operations
This position involves extensive internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Profile & Skills

You are:

- Comfortable working with data and numbers, with a strong affinity for Excel and analytical tools
- Up to 2 years of relevant commercial experience, gained through work, internships, or traineeships
- Fluent in Dutch
Key Responsibilities
Customer Management
- Own and manage one or more customer accounts while supporting the Key Account Manager across the broader customer portfolio
- Conduct independent customer visits and support senior stakeholders during key meetings
- Contribute to annual negotiations and support the development, execution, and monitoring of joint business plans
- Act as a key liaison between the customer and internal departments, ensuring optimal collaboration with teams such as Marketing, Pricing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Forecasting, Customer Development (CD) Finance, and Category Management/CSP
Promotions & Commercial Execution
- Prepare and deliver clear and compelling customer communications
- Align internally with stakeholders (Marketing, Planning, Category Teams, Logistics) and externally with customers
- Provide input on expected listing periods and promotion weeks to support marketing plans, production planning, and financial forecasting
- Contribute to building an optimal assortment and distribution strategy
- Develop proposals for promotional strategies and evaluate campaign performance with customers
- Set up and manage quarterly commercial agreements, requiring a high degree of flexibility to meet quarterly and annual Business Unit targets
