We're looking for a DevOps Engineer in our Development Services team. In this role you will design, implement, and roll out standardized CI/CD pipelines across multiple product teams and regions. Do you want to play a key role in the platform transition from Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD, and in enabling secure, scalable deployments on Red Hat OpenShift and AWS-based platforms? Do you like to combine hands-on engineering, platform enablement, and DevSecOps governance in a regulated enterprise environment? Then please read further.

Your job

In your position as DevOps Engineer you have the following responsibilities:

CI/CD & Pipeline Engineering

  • Design, implement, and maintain standardized CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
  • Migrate from Bitbucket & Jenkins, AWS CodeCommit & CodePipeline to GitLab.
  • Maintain and support Jenkins pipelines during the transition and decommissioning phase.
  • Continuously improve build, test, and deployment automation.

Infrastructure & Automation

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK and automation scripts.
  • Encourage and build automation wherever feasible.
  • Integrate monitoring and logging solutions, such as Splunk, into delivery pipelines.

Security & Compliance (DevSecOps)

  • Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning.
  • Ensure pipelines comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit-ready pipeline designs and evidence generation.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Actively support development teams during migrations and onboarding.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops on pipelines, GitLab, and DevOps practices.
  • Share knowledge and best practices across product teams and regions.

GitLab Platform Enablement

  • Contribute to GitLab usage standards, pipeline templates, and best practices.
  • Integrate GitLab with enterprise tooling, such as artifact repositories, security scanners, and observability solutions.
  • Apply Git workflows, branching strategies, and merge-request standards, including trunk-based development with feature toggles.

OpenShift & Cloud Platforms

  • Deploy and operate applications on Red Hat OpenShift (private cloud platform).
  • Support deployments on AWS-based platforms, such as ECS/Fargate.
  • Ensure scalability, availability, and security of containerized workloads.
  • Collaborate with cloud platform teams and architects on migration solutions.
