Internship opportunity in HR Operations & Analytics (International Region)

Within the People Function, we are looking for a talented student to support our HR team for International Region across the globe. As an intern you will grow your professional skills in the areas of process excellence, people analytics, strategic workforce planning. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about HR process management & improvement, KPIs and data-driven people decisions. It offers a great variation and development opportunities which will enrich and support you in moving into the next phase of your career.

Your role

HR process excellence & optimization:

  • Analyze and document HR processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Assist in planning, tracking, and reporting on HR-related processes and initiatives to ensure process standardization and compliance across zones

HR Technology - Workday HRIS:

  • Support Workday HRIS activities by maintaining accurate workforce data and assisting in organizational changes
  • Assist stakeholders with system updates, data maintenance, and reporting needs

HR Analytics & KPIs:

  • Collect and translate data insights to support strategic people decision-making
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key HR metrics (e.g., attrition, hiring flow, engagement)

We offer you:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation. Should you need to relocate to near our office, we’ll offer you a monthly allowance of €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, we’ll just ask for the rental contract from your landlord, and your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time (for a one way trip).
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net as a monthly allowance.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop.
