OneTrust Specialist

Drive the translation of privacy and compliance requirements into scalable OneTrust solutions as a OneTrust Specialist. You work closely with privacy specialists, engineers and end users to design, configure and improve workflows that support data protection and AI governance in practice.

Support privacy, compliance and AI governance processes by configuring OneTrust workflows that impact 5 core modules across the organisation.

Examples from practice

• Designing and configuring a DPIA workflow that standardises risk assessment and approval steps across multiple business units.
• Translating privacy requirements into detailed user stories for API-based integrations with other enterprise systems.
• Improving data quality by redesigning taxonomies, attributes and scoring models within OneTrust modules.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and govern OneTrust modules by building workflows, templates, dashboards and automation rules that support privacy and AI governance processes end to end.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into solution designs or user stories, deciding between standard configuration and custom engineering support.
• Collaborate with engineering and privacy teams in agile ceremonies to deliver integrations, improvements and platform enhancements.

You contribute as the functional expert for OneTrust, ensuring platform governance, data quality and continuous improvement across privacy and compliance processes.

You & your talent

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in privacy, compliance or data protection roles.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience configuring and administering OneTrust modules.
• Strong understanding of privacy or compliance processes (e.g., DPIA, ROPA, TPRM, incident management, risk assessments).
• OneTrust Certified Professional (OTCP) or higher (e.g., OneTrust Expert).
• IAPP certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, AIGP) or similar.
• Experience in agile environments (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).
• Experience with integration concepts (APIs, identity management, data mappings).
• Background in Data Protection, Security, Product Management, or Compliance.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into workflows or user stories.
• Analytical skills.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Clear communication skills.
