The Patient & Technical Services department in Heerlen is responsible for addressing clinical/technical product inquiries for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The Patient Service Representative is the central contact point for patients that have product technical and application related questions. Furthermore, the Patient Services Representative can assist healthcare professionals and Medtronic representatives with their technical questions.
For this position, we expect you to be a medical technical professional with a passion for helping our Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health patients, who have an implanted neurostimulator or drug pump. Our team also supports internal and external customers with troubleshooting and technical questions on device functionality.
In this position you will be trained to have an in depth understanding of product features, electromagnetic interference (EMI), alerts, and much more. You should be customer focused and have excellent communication skills to explain complicated technical issues to patients, health care professionals, and Medtronic representatives. Furthermore, you should use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams to improve and expand our services and processes. Required Knowledge and Experience:
Experience with working in a medical technical environment, in a technical support contact center and experience with analysing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement are considered advantages for this role. Besides this, proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ServiceNow are a plus.
