We are currently seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Administrator to join our Rotterdam office to cover a maternity leave. This is a temporary position for a period of eight months.
OMA is an international architecture and urbanism practice with offices in Rotterdam, New York, Hong Kong, and Australia. The HR team in Rotterdam supports all OMA offices worldwide, including Rotterdam, New York, Hong Kong, and Brisbane.
In this role, you will take primary responsibility for payroll and related HR administration for our New York office, while supporting broader HR processes in Rotterdam.
We are looking for a candidate with strong hands-on experience in payroll administration and HR operations, preferably within a US employment context. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance, and administrative support.
The position requires a high level of independence and ownership, with a clear focus on New York payroll processing, compliance with US federal and New York State regulations, and related HR administration.
In addition, you will support US visa and immigration processes, coordinating with internal teams and external providers to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing. You will also assist the Rotterdam HR team with selected administrative processes.
This role is well suited to an experienced HR/payroll professional who is comfortable working independently, has knowledge of US employment practices, and enjoys operating in an international working environment.
