Shipping Performance Analyst

Your Mission

As Shipping Performance Analyst, you will be a key individual contributor within Commercial Operations, responsible for analysing and optimising the performance of our carrier integrations and shipping flows. This is a critical performance-driven role where deep subject-matter expertise, analytical rigour and operational ownership matter most.

You will be expected to stay very close to our shipments and shipping data, understand what is happening across carriers and markets, spot trends or anomalies early and clearly explain their implications to other teams. You act as a subject-matter expert for shipping within the organisation, enabling teams who do not have deep logistics expertise to make better decisions and respond more effectively to issues.

You will also work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that shipping-related technical solutions accurately reflect logistics realities and support scalable operations.

What You'll Do

  • Own the performance oversight and analytical monitoring of shipping across carriers, markets and shipment types
  • Analyse shipment and carrier data to identify trends, recurring issues or unexpected changes in performance
  • Interpret carrier statuses, tracking events and operational signals, and translate them into clear insights for internal teams
  • Stay up to date with developments in the logistics and e-commerce shipping ecosystem (eg. carrier behaviour changes, customs constraints, service disruptions) and assess their impact on our operations
  • Act as the go-to shipping expert for Commercial Operations, supporting Sales, Customer Service and Seller Enablement teams with insights and guidance
  • Run regular and ad hoc analyses to explain performance movements and support decision-making
  • Drive smaller, well-scoped improvement initiatives or investigations
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to support the implementation, improvement or fixing of carrier integrations and shipping-related tooling
  • Translate operational shipping needs and carrier constraints into clear requirements or problem statements for the core logistics tech team
  • Maintain and continuously improve internal documentation and knowledge around carriers, shipping constraints and operational best practices

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in shipping and logistics within an e-commerce or marketplace environment, within the European Union (EU)
  • Strong practical understanding of carriers, shipping products and operational realities (eg. restrictions, customs flows, delivery statuses, exception handling)
  • Ability to interpret logistics data and tracking information beyond surface-level metrics
  • Strong analytical skills and high level of comfort working independently with data
  • Ability to translate complex operational or analytical findings into clear, commercially relevant insights
  • Experience working as an individual contributor in a cross-functional environment
  • High degree of independence, ownership and reliability, with comfort managing BAU responsibilities independently

Why You'll Love Working with Us

  • Create a visible impact by working at scale in a global organisation serving millions of customers across 80+ categories. In our flat structure, every role has a broad scope and directly impacts both our customers and the business.
