Senior business planner

Introduction

As Business planner - Field, you are part of the Integral Demand & Supply department of the Plan & Deliver (P&D) organization. P&D secures objective decision making in business planning across ASML. You play a pivotal role in bringing all relevant pieces of demand information together, translating it into material requirements and presenting the right decisions and consequences to senior management. Extensive contact with multiple other sectors within ASML is required to make this happen.

The Integral Demand & Supply department is a young, social, and dynamic team of >100 professionals that will warmly welcome a new team member.

Role and responsibilities

You are responsible for the cost & performance of the field network plan, linked to the service level agreements with our customer. From this triangle, we drive improvements, assure that risks in the plan are mitigated and opportunities are captured.

On top of that, you will tackle complex business planning challenges for our field products from new product introductions to delivery in volume and eventually the phase out of products, considering multiple perspectives and balancing the interests of different stakeholders.

You are responsible for capturing the field demand by communicating with our Customer Sales & Support organization and translating this into rational but stretched field stocking scenario’s. This plan is used in our Monthly Integral Demand & Supply planning processes to determine the best production and capability plan to meet both our ASML plan as our customers’ service demand.

You will closely collaborate with your Integral Demand & Supply planning colleagues on tactical and strategical planning aspects. Besides delivering the best possible plan to meet our field demand, you will participate in the following activities:

• Enabling decision making for investments to support the long term Field Demand

• Enabling decision making by reporting and presenting the various scenarios and its consequences to stakeholders and senior management

• Identifying and capturing opportunities, as well as identifying and mitigating risks

• Prepares stocking strategies, align with our internal stakeholders, and implement the field inventory plan on tactical level

• Ensuring that the entire organization is executing the same plan

• Defining health indicators required to monitor and manage plan execution and progress

This position is in the heart of ASML with stakeholder management including senior management level.

Education and experience

• Master’s degree in business or industrial engineering and management science, Supply Chain management or Business studies, or equivalent level of thinking

• 10+ years of experience in S&OP, Integrated Business planning and/or Forecasting

• Planning experience in large complex organizations

• High-tech industry (Pre)
