At Futurewhiz, we’re building a new platform to support teachers in creating strong lessons and effective practice exercises—so they can focus on what truly matters: high-quality education.
Futurewhiz is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer/Engineer to help build this new platform.
🪄 Our new platform
Every teacher wants to inspire their students with strong lessons and effective practice exercises. In reality, however, creating these takes a lot of time and energy. That’s why we put all our expertise and experience to work to support teachers.
Through our work, we contribute to our mission to help every child grow. You will become part of a driven and dedicated team with one clear focus: helping teachers develop lesson presentations, create practice materials, review student work, and everything that comes with it.
🎮 What will you do?
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll help shape the product, the technical direction, and the way the team works. This role comes with real ownership: you will help define what we build, how we build it, and how we validate it with teachers.
You will work end-to-end: from shaping solutions with the product lead and designer, to shipping production-ready features, to instrumenting experiments and learning from data and user feedback. You’ll build across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, and you’ll use AI tooling to move faster and stay flexible as the product evolves.
This team is intentionally built for agility: one designer, one product lead, and one (possibly two) full stack engineers. Together, you will build a prototype, test it with the market, learn fast, and iterate rapidly. There will be support from the wider organization when needed, but day to day this team owns the problem, the pace, and the outcomes.
🌟 Your role and impact
Our stack
Everything else is flexible. We will choose tools and patterns that help us learn fast and build responsibly, and we will adjust as the product matures.
🔥 Who are you?
You thrive in small, agile teams where outcomes matter more than role boundaries. You are self-reliant, entrepreneurial in mindset, and comfortable with uncertainty. You like building something new, putting it in front of users, and iterating quickly.
You have a broad engineering skill set and enjoy moving across frontend, backend, and infrastructure when the product needs it. You also actively embrace modern AI-assisted development and agentic coding approaches to extend your capabilities, speed up delivery, and stay adaptable across the stack.

💰 What do we offer?
🤖 Our use of AI
At Futurewhiz, we believe in fully embracing AI in our way of work.
AI is transforming our roles, and we’ll shape this future together. We use AI to accelerate our mission: to move faster, go further, and improve our support to children, parents, and teachers.
