As part of the Engineering Journey, you’ll help shape how 8,000+ engineers design, build, and collaborate every day. We’re building a scalable, consistent, and developer friendly platform, Nexa, and an ecosystem around it. If you enjoy working in a complex engineering landscape, influencing how thousands of developers work, and owning a product that truly matters, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

You & your role

Our Area consists of eight squads. We’re looking for a Product Owner to take ownership of several features of Nexa. Currently the features of your squad include squad administration and application insights.

As a Product Owner you think in terms of value and outcomes, and you set clear priorities that help the team focus. You ensure the squad administration and application insights evolve as a high-quality product: modular, documented, governed, and aligned with platform standards.

Examples for practices

  • Develop and maintain clear dashboards and overviews that show the health and performance of the systems and the engineer who is responsible.
  • Create transparency in the structure of our large software development organization by mapping responsibilities, ownership, and contact points across teams.
  • Identify and define which data needs to be captured to streamline IT operations and improve collaboration. This includes establishing connections between the S@S organization and ITSM applications, and ensuring roles such as risk champions and triangle members are correctly represented.

Top responsibilites

  • Vision & direction – Keep the product vision up to date and aligned with the Area vision and connect your roadmap to the strategy.
  • Prioritization – Own and prioritize the backlog of components, patterns, documentation, and tooling to maximize value.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with UX, front end, platform, and brand teams to ensure alignment and technical feasibility.
  • Quality – Protect consistency, accessibility, and overall quality at scale.
  • Adoption & impact – Drive adoption by promoting best practices, supporting teams, and solving real product needs.
  • Measurement & learning – Use feedback, usage data, and team input to continuously improve components and workflows.
  • Documentation – Ensure the documentation is clear, discoverable, and easy to maintain.
  • Built in standards – Make accessibility, usability, and scalability part of every component and pattern.

Together we achieve more than alone

We are curious about what you add to our team of Engineering Journey.

  • Solid understanding of UX, accessibility, and front-end technologies.
  • Experience turning complex internal data into actionable insights for developer platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills.
