For our team in Sassenheim, we are looking for an enthusiastic Sample Management Technician. As part of this team, you will be responsible for carrying out sample management and support activities and so contribute to the production of a groundbreaking new therapy.

You will be required to work in a clean room under GMP guidelines. Some process steps will require the use of additional PPE.

Your activities will include:

  • Sample management activities including (but not limited to) sample handling, coordination, ensuring chain of custody in LIMS, and communication to QC
  • Sample receival and storage as appropriate
  • Daily and weekly sampling
  • Daily and weekly equipment support activities
  • Media logistics
  • Waste management and decontamination autoclaving
  • Hospital bin transport
  • Supporting other areas of operations as required

Qualifications

  • MLO or HBO (BSc) degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related sciences
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical environment and knowledge of GMP is preferred
  • Flexible and proactive
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evening shifts
  • Enjoys working in a team and communicates well
  • Accurate, with great attention to detail
  • Able to work independently
  • Quick learner who strives to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Enjoys volunteering ideas and continuously improving the environment
  • Fluent in English (spoken/written)
