Bei L’Oréal Netherlands suchen wir eine/n Senior Accountant (Fixed term contract for 18 months).

About the Role

As a Senior Accountant at L’Oréal Netherlands, you will be the link between local organization and shared service Center. You will work under responsibility of Benelux accounting manager.

What will you do?

Your role consists of the following tasks:

  • Manage fixed assets accounting
  • Manage Eco-tax declarations: Calculation, analysis and documentation filling for both the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.
  • Manage insurances excluding HR for the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • Update internal procedures and guidelines for the above. Ensure compliance with GAAP requirements.
  • Prepare/Review of Reports: Transfer pricing documentation, off balance sheet obligations, fixed assets, etc.
  • Timely and accurate month-end and year-close processes.
  • Prepare documentation for External Auditors
  • Ad hoc projects for the FI/accounting part (incl SAP).

Who are we looking for?

Hard skills

For this position, we are looking for someone who meets at least the following requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience of working as an Accountant
  • HBO/University degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant. A certification such as CMA or CPA will be a bonus
  • Good experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Good experience of MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP
  • Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Soft skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Structured, simplification mindset
  • Ability to deliver hands-on principle
  • Team player
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
