Fullstack Software Engineer (Product)

OWOW is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer (Product) who likes building products end-to-end. You can move from concept to production, deploy what you build, and improve it based on real usage. You care about maintainability and scalability, but you also understand that products need momentum and commercial value.

About your role

OWOW has been building custom software for years. We are now taking the next step by turning proven solutions and recurring patterns into scalable products that can serve more customers over time.

In this role you will work closely with our CTO and take the lead on bringing products to a level where they are reusable, scalable, and maintainable. That means you will not only build features, but also shape the technical foundation: architecture, deployment, observability, security basics, and the “boring” work that makes a product reliable in the long run.

You will also contribute to new product ideas where we see a strong business case. You will help validate assumptions, ship fast iterations, and make decisions based on evidence. Sometimes that means refining an idea, sometimes it means discarding it and starting over.

Job requirements

• Minimum of three years of professional experience as a software engineer (fullstack).
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Node.js and building APIs (REST).
• Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
• Experience with React and modern front-end patterns is a plus.
• Experience with NestJS is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Proven experience deploying and running production systems.
• AWS or DigitalOcean experience is required (you can set up or maintain cloud environments).
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, monitoring, and logging is a plus.
• Comfortable working in sprints within a multidisciplinary team.
• Based in the Netherlands and willing to work from our Eindhoven office (hybrid work policy).
• Proficient in English or Dutch, spoken and written.

• You are curious about how AI can unlock product capabilities and speed up delivery.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) is a plus.
• You are comfortable experimenting, measuring impact, and keeping what works.
