Role Description

The Risk Analyst supports the execution of risk management, governance, and compliance activities across global People processes (Advisory, Payroll, Operations, and Rewards). This role focuses on detailed analysis, documentation, and reporting to help ensure People processes operate in line with internal control standards, regulatory requirements, and established policies.

As part of the first line of defence, the Risk Analyst works closely with Risk Officers and collaborates with HR, Payroll, Legal, Finance, and Risk teams to support risk assessments, control monitoring, and process reviews.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support the execution of risk and compliance activities across People processes.
  • Gather data, document controls, and collect evidence to support risk assessments and control testing.
  • Prepare initial risk assessments and process maps for review, highlighting potential control gaps or process improvement opportunities.
  • Support control and process owners by answering questions and providing guidance, in coordination with the Risk Officer.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation to support reporting, audits, and stakeholder requests.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Foundational understanding of risk, controls, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
  • Audit/risk experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in SOX, Risk, Audit, Assurance, or similar functions.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work with large datasets and identify trends or inconsistencies.
  • Structured, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Clear and concise communicator, particularly when drafting reports or working with stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and develop in the role.
