About the role
The Rebates, Trade Spend & Pricing Intern supports the implementation and day‑to‑day execution of Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Trade Spend, and Pricing activities within the North Europe region. The role works closely with the RGM, Pricing, Finance, Trade Marketing, and Commercial teams, contributing to accurate execution, reporting, and analysis of pricing, promotions, and trade investments.
This internship offers hands‑on exposure to commercial finance and RGM processes in a fast‑paced Consumer Goods environment, with a strong focus on data quality, analytical support, and operational excellence.
The impact you’ll make
Trade Spend & Rebates Support
- Support the administration and tracking of rebates, trade spend, and promotional accruals, by maintaining reports, dashboards, and trackers.
- Assist in validating trade spend inputs and ensuring alignment with agreed customer conditions & budgets.
- Support Finance (AP team) in maintaining a clean and accurate invoice flow, including follow‑up on discrepancies.
- Help ensure customer master data accuracy related to rebates and trade spend.
- Assist with data prep for month/quarter/year end close.
- Help document processes, guidelines, and best practices to improve consistency and efficiency.
Pricing & Promotion Support
- Support the implementation of pricing guidelines, RRPs, and promotional mechanics in line with global and local policies.
- Assist in monitoring pricing and promotion compliance across customers and channels.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of pricing tools and related tracking files.
- Assist the team with ad‑hoc analysis to support pricing and financial decision‑making.
Stakeholder & Process Support
- Work closely with RGM, Finance, and Sales teams on day‑to‑day topics.
- Support the roll‑out of global tools, templates, and best practices at Fighting Unit level.
- Ensure activities are performed in line with Commercial Policy and local compliance requirements.
- Provide administrative and analytical support for ongoing RGM and Pricing initiatives.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with Excel (pivot tables, formulas); SAP/ SAC, Ariba or other tools is a plus.
- Interest in pricing, promotions, trade spend, and commercial finance.
- Structured, proactive, and eager to learn in a complex commercial environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent working English: Dutch or French is a plus.
- You are available for at least 5 months.
