After intensive training on our products and solutions and the market of Vehicle Care, you will be responsible for the sales management of all distributors in your customer portfolio. Reporting into the vehicle care manager, you will oversee and drive growth across our distribution network and build strong and long-term relationships with your partners with a European focus. Utilizing your expert knowledge, coupled with your influencing skills, you will seek out opportunities for growth.

This position is a remote position.

What You Will Do:

  • Own the commercial relationship with our distribution partners, with a focus on all over Europe.
  • Implement the distribution strategy, including planning and controlling.
  • Manage the sales budget of your customer portfolio with an ambition and commitment to achieving double digit growth rates.
  • Build up and maintain regular personal contacts with key stakeholders at our distributors (purchasing, sales representatives, sales management, operations).
  • Contribute to all divisional or cross-functional matters (pricing, marketing, sales promotions, events, seminars, product launches…).
  • Report sales activities according to guidelines in CRM and monitor sales numbers.
  • Coordinate the sales and demand forecasts with our distributors.
  • Provide technical support by answering all types of technical questions related to our products and solutions.
  • Train the sales forces of our distributors through training sessions and field sales coaching.
  • Provide commercial guidance such as follow-up on pricing and orders, together with our customer service.

To Be Successful, You Will Need

  • Qualifications in business or sales; minimum a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a business-related environment managing international accounts, ideally acquired in a distributor-driven sales environment.
  • An optimistic, action-oriented person who likes to hunt for new opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate actions with customers and internal support functions within Ecolab.
  • Understanding of the distributor-driven business model and how to grow distribution channels.
  • Fluency in English; other languages are a great asset.
  • Knowledge of the Vehicle Care market/automotive market is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of your time.
  • Ideally based within driving distance from Ieper (e.g., Benelux, North of France, West of Germany).
