Role: Accounts Payable Specialist

Share your talents

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you have a strong sense of proactivity and precision. Supporting the (international) business, you will be responsible for some of our main markets, where it’s a plus if you are familiar with the UK&I market. Processing invoices and payments timely and correctly is where your journey starts.

You’ll be interacting daily with your team lead, other accounting assistants, and financial controllers. You’ll also be communicating with other colleagues in the local business and within the finance team, (local) vendors and landlords, and less frequently with external auditors. With the capability to communicate in the local language, you can really make the difference in accelerating our accounts payable and providing full support to our countries.

Furthermore you will:

  • Process invoices on a daily basis correctly and on time
  • PO matching on invoices
  • Prepare weekly payments
  • Keep vendor cards and suspense accounts clean
  • Settle bank statements
  • Maintain master data
  • Improve quality of information on vendor invoices
  • Handle all vendor correspondence

For this role, we are searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist with a professional attitude, strong ethical code and strong time management skills. You are familiar with the basic account principles and adapt easily to new ways of working. You have an eye for detail, strong verbal and written communication skills and you are excited to be part of our Rituals family.

On top of it, you have:

  • Full knowledge of the English language
  • Bachelor level education
  • Experience in accounts payable in an international, commercial environment
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • You currently reside in the Netherlands
