Are you a driven and ambitious sales professional with a passion for winning new business and reigniting dormant relationships? At Colt, we’re looking for a high-performing Account Executive to lead growth across low-penetration, low-spending, and dormant large enterprise accounts in the Netherlands. This is a strategic role suited to someone who thrives on challenge, is commercially astute, and has a proven ability to open doors and build long-term value. We’re looking for someone with the mindset and capability to lead complex engagements and deliver real business outcomes.

What you will do

  • Own and drive new business across low-spending and dormant large enterprise accounts in the Netherlands.
  • Identify and unlock new opportunities within the Netherlands enterprise landscape.
  • Develop tailored strategies to re-engage underutilized accounts and convert them into active, high-value customers.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders across complex organizations.
  • Use data and insights to prioritize targets and shape winning sales strategies.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements across Colt’s portfolio (cloud, networking, SD-WAN, voice, security).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution from pre-sales to delivery.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline discipline using modern sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC, Challenger).

What we're looking for

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
  • Proven success in new business development, ideally in telecoms, IT services, SaaS, or digital infrastructure.
  • Experience engaging large enterprise customers with a consultative, outcome-based approach.
  • Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with strategic sales methodologies.
  • A self-starter mindset with a hunter mentality and a passion for unlocking growth.
  • Ability to influence and build trust at executive level.

Education
