Als Contract Manager Mechatronics werk je binnen een category team en ben je end-to-end verantwoordelijk voor het managen van leveranciers en contracten binnen het mechatronics-domein. Je speelt een sleutelrol in het stimuleren van supplier innovation en het borgen van continuïteit, kwaliteit en kostenperformance binnen een complexe, high-tech supply base. Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s van Product Development, Proposition Management, Operations en andere stakeholders binnen de Integrated Supply Chain, evenals met externe partners.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with mechatronics suppliers and monitor their performance on quality, logistics, technology, cost, and compliance.
  • Manage, draft, and continuously improve contracts and framework agreements, ensuring compliance and optimal commercial value.
  • Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms, including contract renewals and (semi-)annual price agreements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply risks at supplier and item level to ensure continuity and reliability.
  • Lead sourcing and contracting projects and select suppliers for technical and innovation-driven projects within the existing supplier landscape.
  • Contribute to value engineering, cost reduction initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and procurement-related development activities.

Wat is jouw ervaring?

You thrive in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment and feel comfortable operating at the intersection of technology, procurement, and stakeholder management. You combine a structured way of working with a commercial mindset and take ownership of your responsibilities.

You bring:

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in strategic and or tactical procurement, preferably in a high-tech, mechatronics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Affinity with or experience in manufacturing and series production processes.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to balance commercial interests and long-term partnerships.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and analytical tools to support decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
