We’re looking for a Senior Internal Communications Manager, based in Amsterdam, to join our global Internal Communications team.

This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

As the Internal Communications team, our ambition is to help Adyen move fast and stay aligned - by making strategy clear, connection meaningful, and culture scalable. We do this by ensuring teams across the company understand where we’re going, why it matters, and how they fit into the bigger picture. We’re looking for someone who knows how to turn complex topics into clear, engaging stories - and who has done this at scale, ideally in a fast-paced tech environment.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and teams across the business, and you’ll be hands-on in shaping how we communicate with our global teams.

What you’ll achieve

  • Help shape and scale Adyen’s global internal communications strategy as we enter our next phase of growth.
  • Lead Adyen’s global monthly all-hands, from shaping the narrative to hosting and delivering sessions that connect teams around the world.
  • Put the right processes, tools, and channels in place to drive dialogue and engagement, not just information sharing.
  • Partner with leaders and teams around the world to help them communicate more clearly, cascade key messages, and engage their teams.
  • Create content and experiences that bring our priorities to life - through events (including narratives), comms campaigns, video, and written content.
  • Use data and feedback to understand what’s working, what’s not, and continuously raise the bar for internal communications at Adyen.

Who you are

  • You have 7+ years of relevant experience in internal communications, ideally in a high-growth environment.
  • You’re an excellent communicator with strong written and verbal English skills and a clear talent for storytelling.
  • You thrive in fast-growing organizations, manage a wide range of stakeholders with ease, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex topics.
  • You’re data-driven, using insights and metrics to inform decisions and improve internal communications.
  • You can drive projects end to end, with strong project and stakeholder management skills.
  • You’re curious, creative and proactive, always looking for new ways to communicate, sharpen ideas, and test new things.

This role is based out of our Amsterdam office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.

We took an unobvious approach to starting a payments company, building a platform from scratch. Today, we're the payments platform of choice for the world's brightest companies. Our unobvious approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity, of backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives, is essential in helping us maintain our momentum.
