Content Manager (NL)

This is the role

Are you obsessed with the power of audio? Do you have an ear for the next big story and the strategic mind to bring it to life? At Podimo, we are on a mission to amplify voices and deliver high-quality audio entertainment to listeners. In this role, you will be the bridge between creative vision and listener ears, responsible for the end-to-end management of our original and exclusive podcasts and audiobooks.

You will be part of our Dutch content team, and work closely with creators and production partners to ensure every show finds its audience, engages listeners, and contributes to the growth of our platform.

The role is based out of our offices in Amsterdam, and will report directly to our Head of Content.

What you'll do:

You will take the lead on a portfolio of commissioned titles, overseeing them from the initial spark of an idea to the launch strategy and beyond.

• You will source and commission original podcasts and acquire exclusive content that resonates with our target audiences. You’ll assess inbound pitches and provide the editorial "sparring" needed to develop new hits.

• Building strong relationships is at the heart of what we do. You will collaborate with independent creators, production companies, and agents, ensuring they feel heard and supported. You'll establish a valuable feedback loop that aligns their creativity with our shared goals.

• You will oversee the entire production process. This means maintaining high editorial standards while keeping a close eye on schedules, budgets, and contracts.

• Working with the Head of Content, you will help define strategies that reflect current trends. You'll analyze data to maximize show performance, making editorial and commercial decisions that turn casual listeners into loyal fans.

• You will handle the essential administrative side of your portfolio - from contract management to performance tracking - ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

This is you

• You bring 3-5+ years of relevant experience in the media, audio, or entertainment industry. You have a solid background in content strategy, production, or editorial roles.

• You have a proven track record in commissioning. You have experience identifying compelling stories and know exactly how to shape a format to fit market needs.

• You excel at community building and stakeholder management. You have experience managing talent, agents, or production partners and can give constructive feedback in a way that fosters trust and improvement.

• You have strong project and production management skills. You have experience managing complex budgets and timelines, capable of juggling administrative tasks without losing focus on quality.

• You understand audience engagement and know how to use insights to help a show grow. You have experience translating data into actionable strategies that retain listeners.

• Strong communication skills in Dutch (fluent) and English, both written and verbal.

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
