Advocacy Community Manager

The Advocacy Community Manager is responsible for developing and nurturing a thriving community of brand advocates for the L’Oréal Groupe with a focus on driving short term performances but also building the market for the future. This role combines strong marketing project management, social media expertise, relationship management, and a deep understanding of the beauty industry to cultivate authentic engagement around our brands. The Advocacy Community Manager will identify, engage, and empower key communities for the L’Oréal Groupe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop community bonding, love and loyalty via eventing, educational masterclasses, and unmissable experiences online and in-person. You will be the lead of our upskilling programs with creators & experts to continuously develop our market in a smart, scaled & sustainable way. Both focusing on long-term and short-term results.
  1. Strategic planning, together with divisions
  2. Event Planning and execution: Plan and execute online and offline events for the advocate community, creating opportunities for networking, product education, and brand engagement.
  • Develop community engagement and loyalty programs aimed at generating UGC:
  • Full ownership to set-up and maintain this program from A-Z
  • Build and recruit online brand lovers and consumer advocates into our community program
  • Coordinate an efficient process of gifting and seeding management
  • Develop ‘always on’ programs to promote the generation of User Generated Content
  • Think strategically about the long-term growth of your responsibilities and the position & bridges with the A&I ecosystem as well as other (digital) métiers.
  • Reporting on your key topics
  • You will also be responsible for being the bridge between consumer care and the advocacy team within CDMO

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch
  • +3Y experience in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field in marketing.
  • Proven experience in (influencer) marketing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of the beauty industry and L'Oréal's brand portfolio.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills where you act as a leader with strong stakeholder management.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to build and showcase proactive problem-solving
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools.
  • Passion for building and nurturing communities.
  • Creativity in marketing
