The Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager to lead and optimize our Invoice to Pay (I2P), Process & Compliance (P&C), and global Travel & Expense and Corporate Card (TEC) programs. This pivotal role requires a proven leader to drive the strategic and operational excellence of these functions across the organization. The Manager will be responsible for defining the future state of I2P and TEC processes, championing compliance and financial control adherence, and leading a high-performing team to deliver global efficiency, automation, and an enhanced stakeholder experience. This role requires a deep understanding of the Procure to Pay (P2P) processes, strong project management acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of individual contributors and team leads, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.
  • Define the team's operational and strategic objectives (OKRs/KPIs) and be accountable for their delivery.
  • Be a key point of escalation for complex operational or technical issues, providing leadership and resolution direction.

Strategy & Operations

  • Define and own the strategic direction of global I2P, P&C, and TEC processes, ensuring alignment with the overall Finance department strategy.
  • Oversee global adherence to Company policies, compliance requirements (e.g., SOx, Tax), and applicable governmental regulations across all processes.
  • Identify, analyze, and drive high-impact opportunities for process improvement, including the implementation of new technology, automation solutions, and best-practice adoption.
  • Manage key relationships with external partners (e.g., suppliers, card issuers) and internal stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and cost-effective operations.

Compliance & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the subject matter expert in I2P, P&C, and TEC, sharing best practices and serving as a key advisor to senior leadership.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships across the Finance community and other departments (e.g., IT, Procurement, HR, Accounting) to drive efficiency in procedures and cross-functional alignment.
  • Ensure the control environment is adequately documented with key controls in place, and oversee policy review and updates.
  • Communicate effectively and work with leadership-level (ELT) stakeholders on strategic initiatives and performance reporting.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Extensive knowledge (8 - 12 years minimum) of relevant experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), shared services, or corporate finance roles within a large, multinational organization.

Expertise:

  • Demonstrated ability to apply deeply specialized knowledge of financial processes, compliance (SOx, Tax), and financial controls.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing teams in a global, matrixed organizational structure.
  • Strong change management experience with the ability to create full buy-in from the team and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to understand complex data and take appropriate, data-driven decisions.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with relevant finance and accounting technology (e.g., SAP, Workday, Concur) is highly beneficial.
