Join ASML’s Re-Purpose Team, part of Reverse Supply Chain Operations. This team focuses on giving materials a second life and improving processes that support sustainability. As an intern, you will work closely with the team on daily operations while contributing to projects that make workflows more efficient. This internship offers hands-on experience in a growing area of supply chain management and the chance to drive meaningful improvements.

Introduction

You will spend most of your time supporting operational activities and learning how reverse supply chain works in practice. Alongside this, you will take on an improvement project that helps streamline processes and enhance team performance.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Assist with daily operational tasks in material re-use and related processes.
  • Perform administrative activities and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to keep workflows running smoothly.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions.
  • Support implementation of changes in systems and procedures.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to align on actions and priorities.
  • Share feedback to help prevent future errors and improve efficiency.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or process engineering.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
  • Are proactive, curious, and comfortable working in an environment with evolving processes.

Other requirements you need to meet

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
