How you can make your mark

Make your mark as Operations Pool Coordinator for our Offshore Energy division by scheduling the project crew onboard the vessels! You will staff the dedicated project crew for our vessels working for the business unit Offshore Heavy Lifting (BOHL): Bokalift 1 and Bokalift 2. Additionally, you will also schedule subcontracted vessels as Operations Pool Coordinator Offshore. By doing this, you make a big impact on our international and often one-of-a-kind projects.

Your responsibilities as Operations Pool Coordinator

  • Coordinating the crewing team within the Business unit BOHL, located in the Netherlands and Boskalis Abu Dhabi office.
  • Staying fully up to date on our project teams and ensuring the right schedule parameters are incorporated in the project crew schedule.
  • Connecting to subcontractors and agencies and ensuring the right interface with these parties is set up.
  • Maintaining an overview of all vessels and staff running on the projects.
  • Teaming up with other crewing departments, who take care of the final travel arrangements and training needed for the works.
  • Being the go-to person for project crew regarding their questions.
  • Owning the Way of Working for projects running within BOHL, subject to crewing matters.

Your qualities

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in planning a crew onboard of a multiple fleet
  • An understanding of the nature of our projects and what the execution entails is seen as an advantage
  • Excellent computer skills and experience in working with MS Office, and relevant crewing packages such as Onboard tracker and OneView

The following competences are also important for the job:

  • You should be a team player, who can bind the construction team
  • You should be structured and able to maintain a crewing setup as being developed in Boskalis operations
  • You should be flexible in your work, and able to troubleshoot if works develop differently than planned

Extra information

  • Your team: As Operations Pool Coordinator you will be part of the business unit Offshore Heavy Lifting and will report to the Operations Manager of this business unit. You are in constant contact with our Operations pool, coordinating and arranging who needs to be at which location and when. As a crewing coordinator, you are working with crewing administrators in your team, in the Abu Dhabi office, and in the Netherlands.
  • Where you will work: You will be working at the Boskalis Campus Papendrecht and on project demand on locations abroad on a rotational basis.
