In the role of Strategic Insights Manager at HEINEKEN, you will lead and drive the delivery of a transformational Strategic Insight agenda across a defined region, including any commercial priorities within it. As part of this position, you will take a strategic approach on all topics, including those related to Category Growth & Performance, Brands, and Innovation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and deliver an Insight agenda in the defined region leading to consumer inspired growth
    • Define and execute a future-focused insight and learning plan for the defined region which identifies and answers the ‘big questions’ that will unlock future growth, including Category Growth & Performance and deep consumer understanding.
    • Become the business expert on the Category and Consumer/Shopper insight associated with the region, including consumer & shopper drivers, needs, unmet needs, compromises, etc.
  2. Put Strategic Insight at the heart of our category, segment, brand and trade marketing efforts across the region and in Operating Companies (OpCo) to drive a step change in output
    • Fully integrate deep consumer/shopper understanding and insight into the heart of the Commercial activity in the region, acting in partnership with regional colleagues.
  3. Undertake as required any ad hoc research or analysis needed to support key regional commercial initiatives.
  4. Build strong CMI capability within the region, including managing the function through any future development
    • Ensure CMI capability in the region is maximized in line with the required delivery of HEINEKEN’s priorities, either via development in Operating Company or mitigation (e.g. activity hubbing).
    • Ensure full deployment of any key Insight developments, e.g. Insight Engine.
  5. Flexible cross-team working:
    • Work as required across different commercial work areas outside the allocated region, in line with business needs, and demonstrating flexibility to support evolving business priorities.
    • Work with other Strategic Insights Managers to ensure all work is synergistic with no overlap.

Your Profile

  • Education: University degree
  • Work experience: Around 10 years as a CMI professional within the FMCG industry
  • Required work experience in field of expertise:
    • Consumer Insight
    • Category & Commercial Insight
    • Strategic Planning
    • Ideally experience working on Brands and Innovation
    • Broad commercial understanding
  • Languages: English
