We are looking for an intern who will assist with the following, in close collaboration with the OTA product owner, solution architect and the manager of the OTA team:

• Analyze the current dashboard
• Understand current manual processes to fulfill business needs
• Automate current manual process using Tableau
• Create new insights based on input of the product owner
• Load new data guided by the solution architect
• Demonstrate new dashboards to the team.

Jouw profiel

We are looking for an enthusiastic HBO / WO student who is pursuing a degree in (Business) IT. The number of internship days is negotiable. Fluent communication in the English language is required as well as knowledge of Tableau and Excel.

Afdeling

PACCAR Global Connected Services develops and markets services that use truck data to advise the customer to enhance cost effective use of trucks. All knowledge and expertise in this field is structured within one global organization, across the entire PACCAR organization, indicating the strategic importance of global development of connected services for PACCAR. This also leads to consistency with regard to the customer experience across the DAF, Kenworth or Peterbilt brands.

The OTA team supports our business with over the air updates of software on the vehicles. For that a platform has been delivered. The platform is new and growing in maturity. To adequately support our business insights are needed in campaigns, vehicle status and issues. For that our existing dashboard made in Tableau needs to be extended with the desired functionality. Also prototyping insights in Excel will be part of the assignment.
