YOUR ROLE
As Account Group Manager Retail, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team in The Netherlands. You will manage key accounts and drive business growth across strategic retail partners. You will lead the development and execution of account strategies, foster strong relationships, and maximize sales opportunities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- You achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing a team of 4 Key Account Managers.
- You design and implement strategic sales plans that expand net sales, gross margin, and market share.
- You recruit, set objectives, coach, and monitor the performance of your team.
- You develop plans, KPIs, and goals to achieve business objectives.
- You manage various customers and projects, ensuring strong partnerships.
- You implement Route to Market strategies with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, IT, sales).
- You identify new trends and opportunities for growth and translate them into action plans.
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- You have at least 7 years of experience in commercial roles within FMCG, including 3 years with Ahold.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
- You are a natural leader with strong negotiation skills and a hands-on mentality.
- You are analytical and make data-driven decisions, including P&L management.
- You are a confident communicator who inspires collaboration in a matrix organization.
- You excel in stakeholder management and project execution.
- You are proactive, positive, and innovative – a true team player.
