At Enviu, we are looking for an Innovation Project Manager to join our team in the Netherlands.

About the job

Will you drive the implementation of circular packaging solutions in Europe? Are you a strategic mind with a hands-on attitude, a strong communicator and connector, and an impact-driven and innovative project manager? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Enviu is a worldwide impact-driven venture building studio. In the Netherlands, from our Rotterdam office, we run the Zero Waste and Agrifood programs. For our Zero Waste program we are looking for a new colleague. The program aims to drive the transition from disposables to a zero waste economy. We do so by implementing reuse solutions and using on the ground experience to drive a thriving reuse ecosystem. In 2026 we will start with a new project which focuses on building a transnational reuse system for glass packaging in Europe. Enviu will lead the innovation work: piloting the enabling conditions for reuse systems and testing the transnational reuse loop, to design a system at scale. Our new colleague will join this project and contribute to additional Zero Waste activities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead projects within the program: break down deliverables into work plans, ensure execution within timelines, budget and quality standards
  • Manage reporting towards project partners and funders
  • Drive and nurture collaboration with execution partners
  • Write grant proposals to ensure funding for the project’s impact
  • Perform research needed for solution design, such as exploring existing innovations for packaging and logistics, investigating governance models for shared infrastructure for reuse systems, and developing impact scenarios
  • Co-develop pilots: ideation and design, for example, co-designing a pan-European pilot for a reusable glass system with strategic partners
  • Set up market validation plans and support execution in the Netherlands
  • Build financial models to project the operations phase of the reuse system you are helping to develop
  • Create, build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, including innovators, civil society organizations, corporates, institutions, (inter-)governmental organizations and funders, to strengthen the programmatic impact
  • Communicate and share learnings of the project in various ways, including articles, events, and social media

About you

  • Knowledgeable and have an active interest in sustainability and circular economy, and eager to contribute to accelerating the transition towards a sustainable future
  • 3-5 years of experience and a proven track record in project management, stakeholder engagement, and/or as a management consultant; experience in working with impact ventures is a plus
  • Experience in partnership management
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in financial modeling
  • Confident in delivering qualitative and quantitative applied research
  • Experience with systems thinking, human-centered design, and value proposition design is a plus
  • Affinity with and knowledge of plastics and packaging systems is a big plus
  • Proactive, curious, structured, innovative, solution-oriented, and hands-on
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English is a must

Our offer

  • The opportunity to develop yourself in a truly unique and challenging international environment, where impact and entrepreneurship meet
  • A job with positive societal and environmental impact in a family-friendly environment
  • Being part of a high impact, systems change project
  • An open culture in which learning from each other and sharing experiences is the norm, plus the chance to develop your own career path
  • A competitive remuneration package matching with the impact sector
