At Coty, we are looking for an ambitious HR Intern with a hands-on mentality. As an HR Intern, you will be working with our HR Operations and local Business Partner team based in our Headquarters office in Amsterdam-Zuid, the Netherlands. This internship will begin in February 2026.

ABOUT OUR LOCAL HR TEAM IN AMSTERDAM

Our Amsterdam HQ organization houses Human Resources Operations, the HR pillar responsible for handling all the nitty-gritty stuff related to employees. HR Operations is the backstage crew of a theater production, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. This includes tasks like hiring new people, managing benefits and payroll, handling employee relations and disputes, and keeping up with all the legal stuff like labor laws and regulations. Basically, they're the engine that keeps the company running smoothly from an employee perspective, using state-of-the-art systems and well-designed processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Operations team, including but not limited to data entry, file maintenance, and document preparation.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Assist in benefits administration tasks, such as enrollment, changes, and inquiries, and liaise with benefits providers as necessary.
  • Provide support in handling employee inquiries, concerns, and requests, escalating issues to the appropriate HR personnel when necessary.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned, such as process improvements, policy development, or employee engagement activities.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HR Operations team or HR Manager.
  • Support the HR Operations team in handling different tasks using the available tools (ticketing system, e-mail, teams, and payroll).

Requirements

  • Student (Bachelor/Master), it is important you remain enrolled with your university.
  • Passion for beauty and our brands, strong affinity with dynamic environment.
  • Analytical, good with numbers and strong Excel skills.
  • Does not shy away from responsibilities and is happy to provide added value.
  • Proactive and hands-on.
  • Flexible and loves challenges.
  • Good administrative & communication skills and likes to work in a team.
  • Fluent in English.

Period

This internship is full-time (40 hours per week), for a duration of 5-6 months and starts from August/September 2024. Remote working is possible up to 50% of your time, in alignment with your line manager. You will receive an internship allowance and NS Business Card if you do not have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis. Be aware that this will largely have to be done in your own time.
