WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Deliver high-quality analysis of electricity markets, the power system or new commercialization opportunities.
  • Derive impactful insights through data analysis, visualization and potentially modelling.
  • Support the team in drafting tailored project proposals for clients for future projects.
  • Train and support other team members.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • MSc or PhD in (Energy) economics, electrical engineering, physics or similar
  • A solid understanding of electricity markets in different timeframes, their functioning, design and dynamics as well as of the relevant market developments in the EU
  • Around 3-5 years of experience in the electricity market analysis for EU stakeholders
  • Very strong analytical skills, which include forward and creative thinking, ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and convey them succinctly
  • Strong skills and experience in data analysis. Experience with energy market models and/or data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, relevant Python libraries) is a plus
  • High degree of autonomy – including motivation to get things done and proactive problem solving and support of teammates.
  • Professional fluency in English (minimum C1). Fluency in German or Dutch is a plus.
