Purpose of Role

Under Armour EMEA is looking for a Lead Demand Planning to join its Integrated Business Planning team based in Amsterdam. The main responsibilities of the role will be to own the Regional Demand Plan that is sent to Supply Planning to procure all inventory for UA EMEA. The Demand Plan must be aligned to hit financial targets, inventory targets, and S&OP metrics. You will drive collaboration and lead consensus of the Demand Plan with Sales Planning, Sales, Merchandising, FP&A, Supply Chain, and Go-to-Market teams.

Your Impact

  • Lead the management of integrated demand roll-ups across all channels, utilizing advanced analytics to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of planning system parameters, ensuring they align with regional and organizational objectives.
  • Communicate critical exceptions to plans, providing strategic insights and recommendations to address potential issues and mitigate risks.
  • Follow a regimented monthly meeting cadence to provide timely updates and in-depth analysis to cross-functional partners, both in region as well as globally, fostering a collaborative environment that supports data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive the development and implementation of innovative demand planning strategies, ensuring the organization remains agile and responsive to market changes.
  • Collaborate with global Demand & Supply Planning as well as Logistics to ensure buying strategies are aligned to Regional targets.
  • Facilitate a category-led focus to enable seamless communication with Regional and Global Merchandising, Planning and Strategy teams.
  • Lead AR end to end process – line definition, reporting, communication, and buy strategy.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The role will be supported through cross-functional relationships with key teammates embedded in existing global and regional functions. The role will have no direct reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance, or other relevant field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Operations, and/or Finance functions.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders, lead change, and communicate complex concepts clearly to senior leaders.
  • Proven track record of information seeking, analytical skills, resolving complex business issues and making sound decisions.
  • Self-motivated and works well independently and under supervision in a team environment.
  • Familiar with manufacturing & supply processes within an ERP system.
  • Tableau experience preferred.
  • Experience in the apparel or footwear industry is preferred.
