As a key member of the leadership team, the Senior Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in shaping and executing our global supply chain strategy. This position drives operational excellence, digital transformation, and end-to-end performance across manufacturing, logistics, and customer service—ensuring our global network delivers efficiency, reliability, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly oversee supply chain execution teams at Oulu, Sandarne, and Gersthofen plants, including off-site activities at 3PLs and tank farms
  • Develop and implement regional supply chain strategies aligned with global objectives, covering production scheduling, materials management (RM & FG), logistics scheduling, warehouse operations, and logistics management
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set priorities for logistics and customer service initiatives
  • Drive Supply Chain performance in safety, KPIs, spending, and logistics productivity improvements as defined in the Global Supply Chain scorecard
  • Ensure alignment with EBITDA targets and cash flow management priorities
  • Champion a zero-incident safety culture (HSES) and lead logistics emergency response efforts
  • Partner with the Center of Excellence to streamline, automate, and improve business and technical processes
  • Analyze operations to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction
  • Provide oversight for evaluation, coaching, and development of regional supply chain team members
  • Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Manufacturing, Commercial, R&D, Finance, and Operations Planning
  • Coordinate efforts with regional supply chain counterparts to ensure consistency and alignment across the business
  • Ensure all tasks and projects are completed on time, within scope, and to professional standards

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience in supply chain or related business areas
  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-site operations and cross-functional teams
  • Business acumen with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Customer focus and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make timely decisions under pressure
  • Action-oriented and results-driven approach

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, college, or business school (minimum requirement).
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
